Soak Up Sweet, Sweet Summertime With These Weekend To-Dos

Greetings, ladies and gentleman of Lexington! The weekend is here again, and we have rounded up a list of things to do to keep your mind, body and soul moving.

Whether you are looking to relax, explore new terrain, or do a little bit of both, we have got you covered.

Here are five ideas to look forward to on this upcoming hot and sunny weekend:

SummerFest
If you have been itching to go to Disneyland but haven’t found the time to get there, SummerFest is the next best thing, as an outdoor theatre meets the magic of make-believe.

Disney’s classic movie turned Broadway sensation happening right here in town is the one and only, Beauty and the Beast. Performances are being held at Woodland Park Thursday-Sunday now until July 22.

Come see Belle, the Beast and the other magnificent characters you grew up with for a live, entertaining enactment, all the while supporting and celebrating local talents and artists.
